I served as the first Public relations officer in 2009 and was later elected as the as the President of the organisation. My vision is to transform Solid Rock Association into a vibrant organisation that responds to the needs and aspirations of the members. Throughout my career I have accumulated more than 20 years’ experience working with non-governmental organisations and underserved communities.

My other work has included co-founding the Take Pride in Ghana Association, and also serving as the Administrator of Sucardif Association, an NGO in special consultative status with ECOSOC since 2011.

Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience working with deprived youths and handicraft producers as both a field operations officer for Youth Empowerment & Job Creation skill training programs, and as a co-founder of Solid Rock. I have a passion for Ghanaian/African arts and cultural artifacts, which has driven my work in the livelihoods sector.

A well trust fellow to wind-hold a proactive/progressive organizational sail.

William Segbedzi

Product Developer

Originally from Scotland, I moved to Ghana following the completion of my degree in product design engineering. After spending three months working with a livelihoods NGO in the north of the country I joined Solid Rock here in Accra. I’m really enjoying life in my new home, and am forever grateful for being accepted into a new community that has given me the opportunity to help.

My key roles in the organisation include working with local producers to improve product quality and general business development.
